“Vertigo is usually described as a fear of falling, but what happens when the ground deserts us, when it just… lets us go? We’d be falling up, into a boundless, infinite emptiness.

Vertigo is a sensation that we relentlessly seek out, and at the same time that we are always cautious to avoid.

Our purpose in this piece is to sustain an illusion of weightlessness that connects directly to the body using a language that was devised for this very performance.

Because there is no trick behind all this; the body ends up believing it. After several attempts at experiencing this highly contagious feeling, our team uses its highly developed physical skills in a dramatic enactment of a loss of gravity. The performing space is public space, so passersby will ultimately become an audience through the sheer act of witnessing the performance.”
