Trapezi Pro Catalan Arts

From the Area PRO Catalan Arts, we would like to invite you to what will be a very stimulating and attractive edition with unconditional support to culture and circus. A very special look to motherhood, familiar conciliation, gender, a program with different formats, the research of new scenic spaces and a window to recover the Catalan talent resident abroad, are the issues that follow the road map of the artistic direction headed by Alba Sarraute and Cristina Cazorla, making Reus thanks to all kind of audiences, a global performance. Welcome to the 28th edition of the Fira Trapezi!

We maintain the purpose of networking with Catalan and Spanish artistic directors, and this edition also with a relevant participation of international agents. So the fair will become a space of thinking, debate and reflection about the sector and also a frame for exhibition with 46 companies programmed at theaters, on the streets and in tents. We are a meeting place for circus where different professionals can get in contact, get to know each other and, to facilitate these links, at the Professional Area and together with Bruno Valls, Mar Puig has been incorporated beside Belén Brandido as a PRO facilitator.

You are invited to participate and experience the professional activities of Trapezi Pro Catalan Arts, a gathering place for professionals and institutions from the circus industry (creation, production, distribution, programming, diffusion, teaching, etc.). In this 28th edition, professional activities will take place in person during the mornings of Wednesday May 8th, Thursday 9th and Friday 10th. To articulate the activities Fira Trapezi counts with the collaboration of COFAE, CircoRed and APCC.

As a novelty, we will have three professional spaces:

• Castell del Cambrer (Plaça del Castell, 3A) as the meeting point and to pick up the accreditations (from Wednesday to Saturday in office time)
• Cal Massó (C/ de Pròsper de Bofarull, 7) as in the last editions, it will be again the place to make the activity TaulesPRO and the sectorials activities (on Wednesday May 8th and on Thursday 9th).
• La Palma (C/ Ample, 75) as the place for the Showcase and the DinarPRO lunch (on Friday May 10th).

• Wednesday 8th: 10 am - 2 pm / 4 pm - 7 pm
• Thursday 9th: 10 am – 2 pm / 4 pm – 7 pm
• Friday 10th: 10 am – 2 pm / 4 pm – 7 pm
• Saturday  11th: 10 am – 2 pm / 4 pm – 7 pm
