360º Accompaniment Circuit of the Second Strategic Plan for Circus in Catalonia
Activity organized in collaboration with La Central del Circ and the Rogelio Rivel Circus Arts Centre.
This activity is exclusively aimed at emerging circus artists and students from the Rogelio Rivel Circus Arts Centre.
The second edition of the training meeting Esperit Crític is part of the Knowledge Transmission and Professionalization Program of the 360º Accompaniment Circuit. Its objective is to develop analytical and critical thinking tools applied to contemporary circus, to foster spaces for dialogue and collective reflection among artists, students, and professionals in the sector, and to link criticism with artistic practice, exploring its application in stage creation. A joint work is proposed with artists to delve into creative processes, stage discourses, and dramaturgical construction of the viewed pieces.

Meeting with the Artistic Directors of Fira Trapezi
Alba Sarraute and Cristina Cazorla will provide context about the participating companies, delving into their dramaturgies and sharing the keys to the artistic content of the festival.
Wednesday, May 14
Attendance at programmed shows at Parc de la Festa
This meeting aims to enhance the analytical gaze and critical capacity of participants. It will be a space for reflection and analysis of contemporary circus works.

This artistic proposal is the result of the diversity and creativity of emerging artists working with techniques such as acro-dance, straps, rope, acrobatic hoops, Chinese pole, juggling, music, and Cyr wheel. This show culminates five days of residency within Fira Trapezi.

Activity aimed at showcasing circus proposals from Catalan and other Spanish companies to local, national, and international programmers. Meetings will be organized by thematic tables according to the type of artistic proposals (target audience, stage requirements, etc.). Each table will include programmers and companies who will present their shows.
The goal is to facilitate awareness of the diversity of existing circus proposals. These are initial contacts intended to foster and facilitate professional relationships between companies and theaters, municipalities, and festivals.
